Restoration is one of our favorite jobs. It takes a special love of history and an eye for detail to do restoration work and properly repair antique metals. We prefer to do things the old-fashioned way for a truly period finish. Sometimes, however, we need to use slightly more modern techniques to help salvage a damaged piece. This is especially true of cast iron repairs, which require special handling.
